I have received quite a few bookings over the last few weeks for businesses organizing their end of year staff christmas party in Sydney & Melbourne. Here are some of my top suggestions I have discussed with clients.

No.1
Drinks & Canapés with a few extras. Think chill out lounges, cocktail tables, star curtains, band or DJ, room themed with red carpet and Oscars statues in a hollywood theme. Put in a few props in a corner and let your staff have fun getting dressed up and a group photo. You would be surprised at how much fun it can be and the great memories it creates..

Visit a celebrity chefs restaurant and get a tailor made talk about the food, the menus and the chefs thinking behind the dish and the wine that would match. Chefs celebrity status certainly has increased over the last few years, why not enjoy some beautiful food and rub shoulders with one of your culinary idols.

There are so many ideas I could list, after 12 years photographing and videoing corporate events I have seen and worked with them all. Corporate Event Photographer in Sydney – The Establishment

I am doing some corporate event photography in Sydney CBD tonight. The function is at a beautiful venue called The Establishment.
It’s is for a retiring CEO and we are going to create a photo book from the images taken on the night. What a great way to remember and thank a departing CEO, brilliant.

Glamour makeovers – the ladies from Denman

I’m talking woman to woman here. When you have a thought that it’d be a relief to get out of the seat of the roller coaster ride you’ve suddenly found yourself on in life’s amazing journey. It’s rewarding so you keep on the ride, plan ahead and look forward to stepping off at least once a year.

That’s what 5 ladies from Denman did last weekend. They came into our Imageworld Photography Studio to have glamour makeovers. Setting out early Saturday morning, they drove down the valley from Denman for a weekend away. Sisters, blisters and sisters-in-law. Bags packed with fav jewellery, clothes, champaigne and nibbles.

I walked them down to Sekt Hair & Beauty where transformations gradually and deliciously took place. When I picked them up (did I recognise them?) they were all done; looking their gorgeous best, ready for our photographers.

The attention turned on Cheryl, Sue, Helen, Lyn and Tracey – a little nerve racking but lots of fun all the same. To calm and centre them Rachel and I gave soothing hand massages with a little nail colour if needed. When studio action arrived; clicking, flashlights and mood music, the sisters from Denman came armed with great ideas: black & white tops for group shots, white tops & blue jeans for lounging about and laughing in, sunnies topped with men’s white business shirts all in a row, and of course, lets not forget to do the individual glamour photos.

In between changes of clothes, makeup checks, jewellery swaps, grazing on champaigne and nibbles, the day was punctuated with unwinding and celebration of being unique, and being women and this journey called life.

I heard the weekend didn’t stop there. Hey I’d do it all again just to bear witness and help make it all come together for them……..
