I am photographing at The Taronga Centre tonight for one of my wonderful corporate clients. What can I say about the venue. It sits high above Taronga Zoo with sweeping views of Sydney Harbour, Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. If you are looking for ideas to host an event and want to show off the view of Sydney to some overseas visitors then you will be hard pressed to find a more spectacular
Location. You can arrive by car, bus, Ferry or Water Taxi. You can even visit the zoo before your event.

Tonight was a themes event. Morocan Style, great food, tradition music, the room was decorated and everyone is having a ball.

Office Christmas Party

I am photographing another office Christmas party. This time it is at the hip Cohibar on darling Harbour. The view is awesome, the venue very intimate, the staff….awesome. I highly recommend this place for a function. Also while we are on functions. These guys tonight have hired Oscar statues and Hollywood figure cut outs, we have even set up a Hollywood style dress-up photo booth corner. Should be a lot of fun. I am at the stunning Le Montage venue tonight for a function with one of my clients. This place is so beautiful on the water at Leichardt. The staff have been great and the food is fantastic. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

It is my absolute pleasure to be the photographer for Lend Lease awards dinner tonight held in Sydney at the iconic Intercontinental Hotel. A beautiful venue in Sydney CBD.

It strikes me that Lend Lease must be a great company when so many awards are being handed out for 20years, 30 years and 40 years service. Wow, that’s such a long time to work for the same company these days. Perhaps it shouldn’t be such a surprise. It is probably the way our parents did it. It seems like 10 years is a long time.

Well done to Lend Lease for creating that culture.

Corporate Golf Day Photographer in Sydney

What a day! I have been at the beautiful Pennant Hills Golf Course in Sydney for a Corporate Golf day. I have been taking photos of the players and sponsors. Some days it is such a pleasure to be a photographer!

Staff Christmas Party ideas for work place, business or corporate

I have received quite a few bookings over the last few weeks for businesses organizing their end of year staff christmas party in Sydney & Melbourne. Here are some of my top suggestions I have discussed with clients.

No.1
Drinks & Canapés with a few extras. Think chill out lounges, cocktail tables, star curtains, band or DJ, room themed with red carpet and Oscars statues in a hollywood theme. Put in a few props in a corner and let your staff have fun getting dressed up and a group photo. You would be surprised at how much fun it can be and the great memories it creates..

Visit a celebrity chefs restaurant and get a tailor made talk about the food, the menus and the chefs thinking behind the dish and the wine that would match. Chefs celebrity status certainly has increased over the last few years, why not enjoy some beautiful food and rub shoulders with one of your culinary idols.

There are so many ideas I could list, after 12 years photographing and videoing corporate events I have seen and worked with them all. I had the pleasure of photographing the annual IMB awards night in Wollongong for the third year running. It was a fantastic night at the City Beach Function centre, great venue, great staff and congratulations to all of the IMB 2011 award winners.

Corporate Event Photographer Dinner Hunter Valley Vineyards

I am the photographer tonight at a corporate event dinner in the hunter valley vineyards. This event takes place at the iconic, rustic and stunning Peppers Creek Barrel room. For those of you with a keen eye you will notice those magnificent candelabras an the enormous fireplace that make up the centre price of this venue.

The atmosphere is so rich amongst the timber wine casks, exposed beams and large almost medieval door.

I have done hundreds of functions at this venue, the staff are always professional and on top of things, the meals equal with any venue.

If you are having a corporate event, function or wedding make sure you stop in and take a look at Peppers Creek Barrel Room and the adjoining chapel.
